ASUU STRIKE

Have you read it?
Have you heard?
We're at it aqain!
Asuu is on strike..
It began to spread all round with an intense velocity
At first thought it was rumour, but right now it stares in my face as reality
So I thought it would come and go as it has always done
I never knew it's here to stay, that it will not end in the soonest days
Seems as if there's no way out of this disarray
All effort have not come forth with qood yield
My heart reeks of the words spoken by my pen
I became paranoid!
Why on earth would some set of minds ignore the cry of tomorrow's leaders?
They say they're fighting for our cause but we haven't seen effect
They're asking for a hundred and thirty billion
They raise bottles to break bottles
The government moves away
Now the broken bottle is on the students head
O government please pay up so we can be healed
Our independence we count this year is past a fifty and three years
Yet we rest in the solace of emptiness
Did our leaders not get a hint?
Did they not know that we need ordinance for our long anticipated resumption?
Did they not know that we need someone who would break the impasse and give us appropriate significance?
I wish this gets to the government!
Just to tell them about our disappointment..
